HP Support Assistant problem after installing the Windows 10 Home Anniversary Update

Since upgrading my HP Notebook with the Windows 10 Home Anniversary Update, when I run the latest HP Support Assistant ( to check for new updates or messages, this is what I will see after the program has been running for a couple of minutes.

I have tried all the usual ways to rectify the problem, however they have not work and I was wondering if someone has managed to find a solution.
